It’s Not the Zombie Apocalypse, but Killer Superbugs Could Be on the Way
3 John 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

On Saturday night at 9:00 PM EST, I have a blog talk radio show called God’s Health System and Protection. During this show, we pray for people’s health and protection as found in Psalm 91 and also discuss health information found posted on this blog. You are welcome to attend: God’s Heath System and Protection. The information discussed is cutting edge for your health. The show is archived if you cannot attend it live.
The goal of this blog now is to build you to withstand the coming pestilences that are now rampant in America and the world. God gave the knowledge to prepare for pestilences, so take advantage of this information.
The focus is posting articles with great information that can immediately help your health and quality of life.
God bless you.
“Infections, including influenza. It also helps you fight infections of all kinds. A study done in Japan, for example, showed that schoolchildren taking 1,200 units of vitamin D per day during winter reduced their risk of getting influenza A infection by about 40 percent. I believe it’s far more prudent, safer, less expensive, and most importantly, far more effective to optimize your vitamin D levels than to get vaccinated against the flu.”
“A wide array of health problems, including but not limited to obesity, insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, periodontal disease, stroke, and heart disease all have inflammation as a part of the disease. The majority of inflammatory diseases start in your gut. Chronic inflammation in your gut can disrupt the normal functioning of many bodily systems. There also appears to be a connection between certain types of bacteria and body fat that produces a heightened inflammatory response and drives the inflammatory process.”
“We’ve filled in a lot of the details about how it works,” said Dr. Andrew Gewirtz, a professor in the Institute for Biomedical Sciences at Georgia State who was involved in the study. “It’s the loss of TLR5 on the epithelium, the cells that line the surface of the intestine and their ability to quickly respond to bacteria. That ability goes away and results in a more aggressive bacterial population that gets closer in and produces substances that drive inflammation.” In addition to metabolic disorder, an upset in gut flora can also lead to chronic inflammatory diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.”
“Red onions get their bite from the many sulfur groups they contain. These sulfur groups help produce cysteine within the body that aids in weight loss and detoxification. Additional research has shown that sulfur compounds have a strong antioxidant capacity that inhibits blood cell clumping. Red onions are also a rich source of the flavonoid antioxidant quercetin and the polyphenol antioxidant anthocyanin. These antioxidants prevent the oxidation of dietary and cellular fatty acids. They are very powerful free radical scavengers that neutralize cancer cell growth and dramatically reduce whole body inflammation.”
“Foods that have an incredible array of health benefits that go well beyond just their nutrient value are considered “superfoods.” These foods are typically loaded with a combination of critical fatty acids, antioxidant phytonutrients and essential amino acids. Coconut, grass-fed butter and organic bone broth contain powerful nutrients that strengthen and stabilize the immune system. Short- and medium-chain fatty acids play an important role in immune function. The best sources for these fats include coconut, grass-fed butter or ghee and bone broth. These three superfoods enhance the flavor of the food that you eat and provide remarkable immune benefits.
“These drugs have very dangerous side effects – falls, delirium, and they have been linked to dementia,” said Fick, a Pennsylvania State University professor, who was not involved in the current study. Data from 60 percent of U.S. retail pharmacies showed that more than six percent of men and almost 11 percent of women between the ages of 65 and 80 used benzodiazepines in 2008, Dr. Mark Olfson and colleagues report in JAMA Psychiatry. Almost one-third of older adults used the tranquilizers on a long-term basis, for four months or more, the data showed.”
“Americans use the most opioids of any nation—twice the amount used by Canadians, who come in second place in terms of prescriptions.8 The problem has become noticeable enough that even US officials now warn that narcotic painkillers are a driving force in the rise of substance abuse and lethal overdoses. Preliminary research presented at the 2014 meeting of the American Academy of Pain Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona also found that 12.6 percent of all primary care visits made by Americans between 2002 and 2009 involved prescriptions for sedatives and/or narcotic painkillers (opioids). CDC Director Tom Frieden put the serious danger of using narcotic painkillers even one time into perspective: “Patients given just a single course may become addicted for life,” he recently warned.10 Painkillers work by interacting with receptors in your brain resulting in a decrease in the perception of pain. They are inherently addictive, as they also create a temporary feeling of euphoria, followed by dysphoria, that can easily lead to physical dependence and addiction Ironically, the trademarked name “heroin” is thought to be derived from the German word “heroisch,” or heroic, which is how the Bayer workers who tested the drug on themselves said it made them feel.11 Still, why certain people become addicted (to heroin or prescription painkillers) while others get by unfazed has remained a mystery.”
“At present, a total of 42 human studies22 have linked moderately high fluoride exposures with reduced intelligence, and over 100 animal studies have shown that fluoride exposure can cause brain damage. Most striking among these are 30 (out of a total of 32 investigations) that have shown that fluoride lowered the ability of animals to learn and remember. Studies have also demonstrated that fluoride toxicity, caused by overexposure, can lead to a wide variety of health problems”
Omega 3 Oils
“Unfortunately, since the advent of processed vegetable and seed oils, the average Westerner consumes far more omega-6 acids than omega-3 acids. In fact, the average ratio between omega-6 and omega-3 acid intake in the West is estimated to be 16:1, which is much higher than the optimum ratio of between 1:1 and 4:1. (1) Since omega-6 acids contain pro-inflammatory properties, this severe imbalance can cause a large number of related health problems such as cardiovascular disease. Therefore, it’s important that we maintain an optimum omega-3 to omega-6 acid ratio at all times.”
“In conclusion, zinc is an essential mineral with over 300 enzymes reliant on it to help heal wounds, maintain fertility in adults, protect against free radicals, promote healthy growth in children, boost immunity, synthesise protein, preserve good vision and help cells reproduce. Deficiency is very common (especially in the Third World) and can cause major health complaints, zinc deficiency can be over come by consuming the right diet full of foods that are high in zinc and by supplementing the diet with chelated zinc.
“Is sugar making us sick? A team of scientists at the University of California in San Francisco believes so, and they’re doing something about it. They launched an initiative to bring information on food and drink and added sugar to the public by reviewing more than 8,000 scientific papers that show a strong link between the consumption of added sugar and chronic diseases. The common belief until now was that sugar just makes us fat, but it’s become clear through research that it’s making us sick. For example, there’s the rise in fatty-liver disease, the emergence of Type 2 diabetes as an epidemic in children and the dramatic increase in metabolic disorders.”
Your physical health is very important, but of even greater importance is your spiritual health. Man suffers from a fatal spiritual disease called sin, which always leads to death.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
