I have warned many people about the cholesterol lowing drugs. Your body needs cholesterol to function, and it is not an enemy. It is the LDL that is dangerous as it is oxidized. The HDL is very beneficial. Cholesterol is needed in the brain as it is like a sheath around the nerves. One of the best ways to control the LDL is with foods such as olive oil, oat meal, and Omega-3 oils. Try changing your diet and lifestyle and see if that lowers your cholesterol. If possible eliminate taking drugs to lower cholesterol; in the long run they have the potential to destroy your mind!
