I’m surprised and happy that Donald Trump is the first candidate in my memory to identify China as a threat. Let’s pray he is able to survive and do something about it.

How are we alerted when buying foods if they are from China ?

Keep an eye on foods that are being imported from China – Natural News (where these two articles originate) usually does a good job of reporting on this, and you can sign up for updates from them – and we post articles about hazardous foods whenever they come to our attention. We scan lots of sources for the articles posted on this blog – so you might wish to subscribe. If foods (such as the ones listed in our post) are mentioned, then make sure you buy fresh from local sources such as farmers markets, or buy certified organic, for items such as rice. Products with that label must be free of pesticides, antibiotics, hormones, GMOs and anything else that could harm you – and that means they won’t be from China. For items such as fish, unless the country of origin is listed, DON’T buy it. Chicken is being mass-shipped from China for pet treats and for human consumption, so I only buy chicken that’s organic for myself, unless it’s a brand that I know originates nearby. And I don’t buy my dog treats at all except cookies made with US ingredients and baked nearby. It’s extra work and costs more, but good health is priceless.
